For the last 20 years, Movement Disorder specialist, Dr. Kevin Klos, has taken care of patients with Parkinson's disease in his clinical practice. He is now a caregiver for his mom with Parkinson's disease. In his first book, You Are a Better Parkinson's Disease Caregiver than You Think, Dr. Klos provided practical advice on caregiving at each stage of the disease. The advice was provided by the caregivers taking care of their loved one in his clinical practice. In this second book, Dr. Klos and his daughter Felicity team up to provide insight and advice on caregiving from the perspective of the person with Parkinson's disease. After interviewing patients from Dr. Klos' practice, they learned valuable information about the preferences of the patient regarding many of the most common topics that challenge the caregiving dynamic. They discuss topics such as nagging your loved one, managing medication, driving, nutrition, and exercise among others. They share the advice about caregiving that people with Parkinson's disease thoughtfully provided during the interviews. This advice will better equip you with the knowledge and confidence you need along your journey as a care partner or caregiver. This is a great gift for anyone with a family member or friend battling Parkinson's disease.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
