Kelli Argento was previously an elementary school teacher, but she is now a stay-at-home heart mama. Her son was born with a congenital heart defect, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, and has undergone three open heart surgeries. He was the inspiration for this book about being brave. Kelli was born in a small town in Ohio, where she and her husband are also raising their family with their two dogs, Chevy and Bear. In her free time, Kelli loves to read, and to go on adventures with her son, her husband, and her niece.
