Autorenporträt
Kellie Beckmann-Quin is a writer who enjoys finding creative solutions to issues we all face in everyday life. She wrote her first "book" as an 8-year-old. Yep, she was the word nerd who, instead of going out to play at recess, stayed inside and wrote stories. Back then she had one reader, her teacher. In her 30's she published a chap book based on her blog about leaving the city to establish an island retreat. Her readers were from all over the world, and she's since met many of them in her travels. After 25 years as a freelancer, blogger, magazine editor, news journalist and corporate communications specialist, 2024 is the year of finally writing her own stuff in her own voice again. Her book "Stuff the Status Quo: Spend less on keeping a roof over your head and more on living a life you love", is the first in a series exploring divergent approaches to life and living.
