This book is an ingenious, original, well conceptualised research. It explains how simple phenotypic and morphologic expressions observed in offspring or children were analysed to be genetically determined by parental genotypic constitution. On the assumption that they follow single gene Mendallian pattern of inheritance, it was statistically proven in the two studied tribes of Nigeria. The book suggests that these morphogenetic traits can be used for genetic and forensic analyses especially in predicting parentage in the two studied tribes since DNA analysis is not readily available due to poverty, poor technological advancement and its utilizations in such populations. It also designed an economic tool and method which with further research can be used to determine the genetic profile of an individual in Igbo and Ijaw populations of Nigeria.
