The utility company do not have other option than rolling black out. In the dry season Nepalese people have to face 16 hours load shedding due to energy crisis. Therefore, solar photovoltaic (PV) is an alternative backup electricity supply for the consumers and which is already in use by some of consumers. However, due to the high upfront cost of the technology having storage battery system, it is not affordable for all the users. By formulating Government policy of Grid-tied solar PV, the country can lunch the grid-tied technology to get rid of the current electricity crisis situation.

Mr. Bhandari has obtained Masters Degree in "Energy and Environmental Management" in 2010 from Flensburg University, Germany. In 2001, Bhandari had received Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kathmandu University,Nepal. In professional career Mr. Bhandari has received above 7 years experience in Renewable Energy sector.
