Kim Sunderland is co-author of the Mental Health Commission of Canada's Peer Support Guidelines. She was the inaugural Executive Director of the national non-profit Peer Support Canada and was co-chair of the 2014 and 2016 National Conferences on Peer Support in Halifax and Toronto. She has lived and taught the tenets of It's All Gonna Be Okay as a workshop facilitator and peer support leader in communities and workplaces. In addition, she has supported others-friends, family, and peers-using these same stories and strategies. Kim lives in Mississauga, Ontario, with her husband, Terry, and a short drive from each of her three adult children.
