The future of our world depends on creative, problem solving abilities, however our society forces us to conform. Expressed through an alternative photographic process called Tri Color Gum Bichromate, Kim Nowak Watson constructed and photographed images conveying society stifling creativity. With the presence of water in every image as a metaphor for control, the images call attention to this travesty in hopes of creating openminded change for our world.

Growing up in a suburb of Chicago during the 60¿s and 70¿s, Kim Nowak Watson married her college art professor, had two incredible daughters and created a successful living as a graphic designer and photographer. Kim has taught design at several colleges and since 1995 has owned and operated Pinnacle Graphics, a design studio in Columbia, MO.
