Psyche Relics was an exhibition of works on paper by artist Kimberly Rose Free, combining 2D and 3D objects expressing her experience of psychiatric treatment over the last three decades. Drawings express a lived experience of serious mental illness over thirty years, revealing and documenting its ever-present invisibility through conceptual drawings and sculptures using found paper and objects. Through vulnerable yet playful introspection, the artist seeks to include the viewer in her quest for emotional well-being.
