This eleven-week Bible Study invites people into a sustained engagement with the Ottawa Coalition of Unifying Congregation's Statement in opposition to Christian Nationalism, particularly in its local manifestation through Ottawa Impact. Drawing from the riches of Scripture, the study demonstrates how opposition to Christian Nationalism and the actions of groups like Ottawa Impact is indeed a matter of faith. Designed for small groups or whole church studies, this small book will lead you through the stories and ideals of Scripture, drawing inspiration for advocacy and action in our own time.

Autorenporträt
The Rev. Kristine Aragon Bruce is the Associate Pastor for First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven, which means she doesn't have to write as many emails and sermons as the Rev. Dr. Troy Hauser Brydon but does have the privilege of working with the amazing staff and engaging in ministry alongside members of First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Jared Cramer is the Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Grand Haven and the author of "Safeguarded by Glory: Michael Ramsey's Ecclesiology and the Struggles of Contemporary Anglicanism," "Scribere Orare Erat: To Write Was to Pray," and "Percy Dearmer Revisited: Discerning Authentically Anglican Liturgy in a Multicultural, Ecumenical, Twenty-First-Century Context." He also has to write his own sermons but enjoys time with his Presbyterian friends across the street who also have excellent ideas. The Rev. Dr. Troy Hauser Brydon is the Senior Pastor / Head of Staff for First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven, MI, which means he writes sermons, visits with people over coffee, runs meetings (lots and lots of meetings), oversees the fantastic staff, reads books, and writes emails (lots and lots of emails). You'll even see him living out his rock'n'roll dreams in the Gathering Band or singing with the choir (but he does that for fun, not work).
