This study was aimed to clarify the existing debates regarding review of muladhara chakra accordingly purposefule attempt is made by considering various references from related textbooks of Àyurveda, Yogic and Tantric literature, journals, research papers along with various databases and corroborating it with supportive references from modern anatomy.According to Yoga and Tantric system, Muladhara Cakra lies in the root of spinal column(between anus and genitalia) with 4 Dala spreading surrounding the central structure. Muladhara Cakra more or less lies in the human body as Inferior hypogastric plexus and its Dala are surrounding small plexuses to the pelvic organs. These structures- Inferior hypogastric plexus its roots i.e Hypogastric nerve (from the superior hypogastric plexus) , Lumbar splanchnic nerves, Pelvic splanchnic nerves and surrounding small plexuses i.e. uterine, vaginal, vesicle and rectal plexuses.
