Harsheen T. Eady's journey began when he was born in Savannah, Georgia on January 6, 1974. He was educated in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System graduating from Sol C. Johnson High in 1993. With no definite plans for what he wanted to do in life, he joined the United State Marine Corps. In between deployments he met Takiyah Hall of San Diego, California, and they married in 1996. Together they have three children; Harsheen, 13, A'Yanna, 11, and Amiya, 7. Eady has served the needs of this country as both a minister, for 9 years, and as a U.S. Marine for 17 years. As a minister, God has blessed him with some exceptional mentors and through their support he has become a better friend, father, and husband and he currently attends Liberty University pursuing his degree in religion. As a marine, he has graduated numerous career level courses, most notably the Defense Equal Opportunity Advisor's Course; he is also a certified Department of Defense mediator. Through his service he has been blessed to a part of one of the world's finest fighting forces, which has made him a better listener and leader. He is also a combat veteran having served in Iraq in 2004. The Blood Song (in 40 notes) is a compilation of poems highlighting some of the most important events in this journey. He hopes that his testimony encourages everyone who reads.
