H. Douglas Knust is a teacher, mentor, coach, father and grandfather. He has mentored middle school young men for over 20 years and taught religious education for over 35 years. Knust started a middle-school boys service club in 2001. "Man Stuff" is a segment at their weekly meetings that deals with life lessons. In 2020, he wrote Man Stuff: Things a Young Man Needs to Know, which is a collection of some of these topics. He was a franchised automobile dealer for over 30 years and currently has several small businesses. Knust graduated from Creighton University with a finance degree in 1982. He loves to hunt, golf, sail and bicycle and is a life-long college basketball fan. Knust and his wife, Judy, have three grown children, two granddaughters and one grandson.
