Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Hope L. Engel developed a passion for creative and performing arts at an early age. After graduating with a B.F.A. in Creative Writing, she spent many years teaching. Mother, grandmother, and poet, Hope lives with her husband and little rescue dog, Brody, in Southern California. She wants to encourage children everywhere to find what makes them happy.
