The aim of this work was to evaluation of reproductive performance for Chios and Farafra ewes, estimate milk yield and composition, early fattening performance, carcass characterizations, physical and chemical analysis, and evaluate of reproductive performance of ewe and ram lambs for Farafra and Chios. Farafra ewes had higher reproductive performance than Chios ewe. Milk yield of Chios ewes was higher than Farafra ones and the percentages of the milk post-weaning were 25.15% and 22.61% of the total milk yield of Chios and Farafra ewes under accelerated lambing systems. Chios ewes must be mated during September season only under subtropical Egyptian conditions, but may be mated each eight months, and early weaning system more suitable for Farafra than Chios ewes. Early fattening performance, Farafra ram lambs exhibited better performance than Chios ram lambs through fattening period. It can be concluded that you must improve reproductive and productive traits of Chios flock. Moreover, the selection program for Farafra flock should be continued.
