The thinking of many people is that the polymer is simply as plastic which is used for packaging in household's objects or rubber for making pipes, tyers, elastic, or a material which is used for preparing fibers. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. In everyday life we find, many examples of polymers almost everywhere. It is difficult to find out that, in which part of our life polymers are used or not used. Polymers are used in dentistry, medicine, drug delivery, paints, industry, plastic, cloths, rubber, jackets, tyre and tubes, sports, electrical conductors, sensor devices, optical, tissue engineering, polystyrene cups, cosmetics, textile, wound dressing, etc. Polymers are chain of macromolecules which is made by combination of small units. In other words, the very large molecules which are made by thousands of atoms, sometimes millions of atoms, those are bonded to each together in a repeating pattern are called polymers.
