Haroon Junaidi completed his initial degree in Mechanical Engineering from N.E.D University in Pakistan. He worked initially for the automotive industry before a change of heart lead him to accept a PhD studentship in renewable energy at Edinburgh Napier University.He actively conducts solar water heating workshops in the UK.
