Autorenporträt
St. John Drelincourt Seymour was born in 1880 in Limerick, Ireland, and was ordained as a priest in 1904. An Irish Anglican priest, Seymour spent much of his life as Archdeacon of Cashel and Emily. He is best known for the following works: Irish Witchcraft and Demonology, The Tales of King Solomon , Irish Visions of the Otherworld: A Contribution to the Study of Medieval Visions, and, of course, True Irish Ghost Stories. Harry L. Neligan is credited in for help with this volume. Not much is known about Neligan although records show he worked as a police officer and was a founding member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary.
