Accordingly, there is a growing demand for an outstanding supply chain management to fulfill this need. Supply chain management is one of the significant elements which affect the performance of any organization. The growing interest in supply chain management can be attributed to rapid changes in the global business scenario. Across the world, recent years have seen a marked shift towards customization and globalization. This has resulted in competition among firms reaching new frontiers. Therefore, in recent years, supply chain management has acquired immense attention from both academic and industry sides. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate how different practices in supply chain management affect the supply chain performance as well as determining which of these selected practices has the highest impact on the performance. This is supported with a survey among managers from randomly selected electronics companies listed in the directory of Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers.
