This book introduces a new technique to improve the body performance of the chicken through partial ablation of a uropygial gland (Uropygialectomy). The author is a lecturer in the Dept. of Animal Production, Agriculture faculty, Baghdad University, Iraq. He completed his DVM degree in 2006, MSc in 2008 at the Dept. of Anatomy and Histology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Baghdad University. Also, a PhD degree in 2016 at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty, University of Putra Malaysia, Malaysia.
