Autorenporträt
Heidi Elizabeth Blankenship grew up with wilderness on the horizon in Wellsville, Utah. She has been hiking ever since she could walk and writing ever since she could hold a pen. She received a B.S. in English from Utah State University with an area studies certificate in Literature, Culture, and the Environment. Her poetry has appeared in literary journals and anthologies, and is often read directly to the land. She has had the good fortune of serving as a ranger for state and federal agencies on the Colorado Plateau and in the Sonoran Desert. She claims both Utah and Arizona as home.
