Autorenporträt
Herbert Karl Kalbfleisch (1902-1988) taught for most of his working life in the Department of German, University of Western Ontario, where he served as Department Head from 1950-1967. At the same time, he was also active in the Canadian Association of University Teachers of German, which he served as president or vice-president at different times during the 1970s.
