Mock therefore as an assessment must meet the guidelines on examination procedures such as syllabus requirements, setting procedures, test specification, test moderation, invigilation, marking and grading among others. For this to be reliably applicable there must be a positive correlation between mock and KCSE examinations. The effect of introducing mock examinations as part of KCSE examinations is worth investigating.
