Autorenporträt
India J. Podsen, a former teacher and middle school administrator, is Professor of Middle/Secondary Education and Coordinator of the Education Specialist Program in Teacher Leadership and the Educational Leadership Endorsement at North Georgia College and State University. Both programs were awarded national recognition by the Educational Leaders Constituent Council (ELCC) in 2005. Formerly, the director of the Principals Center at Georgia State University, she is the author of numerous articles and books. Dr. Podsen has collaborated with schools to design effective teacher induction and mentoring programs.
Vicki M. Denmark, a former classroom teacher, middle school principal, and university professor, currently serves as an Area Superintendent with the Fulton County School system in Atlanta, Georgia. She has served on the Executive Board for the Georgia Middle Schools Association and was the president of the organization for two years. Currently, she serves on the Executive Board for the Georgia Lighthouse Schools to Watch program and as the Southern Regional Trustee for the National Middle School Association. She continues to teach as an adjunct professor in the area of Educational Policy Studies and works closely with the schools on mentoring and supervising first year teachers and administrators.
