The present book presents principles, themes and models of existential-phenomenological counseling that can be applied within the support groups addressed to parents who have children diagnosed with various neurodevelopmental disorders. The kierkegaardian models were created based on the texts of the Danish philosopher and come to complement the existential framework in which the therapy with parents of special children can be performed. In addition, the paper presents major theses, as well as feelings and thoughts that parents of children with disabilities have associated. The exploration of the interdisciplinary field between philosophy and psychology is the aim of this paper.
