This work is dedicated to radio-electronic repression of radio-locating systems of aim detection and aim-allocation by active masking noises. The following questions are reviewed: the generalized structural scheme of the radio-locating system as a radio-electronic repression object; estimation of information damage caused to radio-locating systems by radio-electronic repression devices based on active noises creation to a radio-locating system by an automobile-offender noises transmitter; the effectiveness of active masking noises the main types of which are the following: direct noise, continuous noise, modulated noises (amplitude-modulated noise, phase-modulated noise, frequency-modulated noise), chaotic impulse noise, impulse determinative signals sequence; general information about active imitative noises. The main attention in this work is paid to finding the effectiveness of different active masking noises types depending on a lot of factors and, first of all, from time andfrequency noise and signal structure as well as from the noise and signal energy ratio on the receiver's input of a repressed radio-locating system.
