Is-haq Akintola is a professor of Islamic Studies with specialisation in Islamic eschatology. He teaches at the Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos, Nigeria. Akintola is a human rights activist. He is the Director of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), an Islamic human rights organisation based in Lagos, Nigeria.
