This book contains 40 haiku-inspired poems and 40 sets of corresponding affirmations originally written in response to the question, "Transcestors, what would you have wanted to hear to help you survive?" While the project centers trans* and non-binary people, anyone, regardless of gender identity, may find support and inspiration in the poems and affirmations. May all who read it work toward a safer world free of gender-based violence.
