The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe Head teacher s leadership styles and teachers motivation in their profession. The study was conducted in the government high schools of Lalitpur district,Nepal. The study revealed that the Head teacher s leadership style has a great role to play on teacher motivation. Many factors were found to have an important impact on the leadership styles and their impact in turn on teacher motivation. A significant positive correlation was found between leadership styles and teacher motivation. The research concluded that leadership styles are the determinant factors for teacher motivation.
