H. J. Kaplan graduated with BA in Physics from Temple University. He is a physicist and technical salesperson, who also started Tough Love in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He is retired and lives in Philadelphia with his wife. He enjoys life, football, classical music, and his grandchildren.
