Family history questions take time to unravel as they involve delving deep into documents and mythology, but eventually the mystery, which involves a crime, murder and some disturbing revelations, is finally solved. Working together with humour and understanding, Sally and Ralph find that the quest develops into a relationship neither had been expecting and together they face many problems before the conclusion.
Autorenporträt
This is the first novel of retired librarian J. M. Gidman. She was born in Yorkshire but has lived in Lancashire for a number of years. Her love of reading and history has led her to write two books and articles on historical subjects. She is a member of several local history societies and gives talks to local groups. Her first novel is a fusion of these interests and is the high point of her writing career. She is currently writing a sequel.
