Autorenporträt
Julia lives with her husband and 3 little gremlins in rural Fulton, Missouri. Her passion for reading, writing, and drawing eventually led to the creation of her debut book, Fox's Frightful Night. A long time love for all things Halloween, witchy, or macabre has had a decided impact on her illustration style. While she also loves to create whimsical fantasy illustrations, her favorites are almost always of the creepy-cute variety. Even as a small child she felt drawn to the books with the Halloween sticker on the spine at the local library, so it only makes sense that her own book would feel right at home with them! Julia dreams of one day opening a coffee shop and bakery with her children, in addition to writing and illustrating many more books. She loves cats, hiking, and playing board and card games with her family, but she is most often found curled up with a book.
