Autorenporträt
Chris G. Van der Walle is Professor at the Materials Department at the University of California in Santa Barbara. Before he worked at IBM Yorktown Heights, at the Philips Laboratories in New York, as Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, and at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. Chris G. Van der Walle possesses over 200 scientific publications and 18 U.S. patents. In 2002 he received the David Adler Award by the APS. Dr. Walles' research covers Computational Physics, defects and impurities in solids, novel electronic materials and device simulations.
