J. Patrick Brown was raised in New Orleans, where he learned the city mantra of "drink, regret, reflect, repeat." He resides in the Greater Boston area, where he is associate editor for the local alt-weekly The Weekly Dig as well as the publisher of the Tumblr blog Hungover Owls.
