There is, therefore a need to develop an automatic Alzheimer's disease diagnostic system, which is very accurate, fast and user friendly. This book focused on the development of a new automatic Alzheimer's disease detection system based on the hippocampus MRI texture features.

Received BE and ME Degree from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1990 and 2002 respectively and PhD from Anna University in 2012.Worked as a Biomedical Engineer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and working as a Professor. Taught different under and post graduate courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering.Published many research works
