After a short stint as a destination blogger, J.W. Christie took her writing to the next level. Christie completed her first novel in her hometown, Traverse City, Michigan. She fell in love with writing during her high school years but began a career in the baking industry instead and settled down to start a family. After raising her children, she finally decided it was time to rekindle the old writing flame and sat down to write The Amerii, Second Rising (Prospective Press, 2022) and Around The Table (The Ankh Quarterly, 2020). Christie is currently working on her second novel, Re-Creation as well as Hindsight and The Amerii - Risen, the sequel to The Amerii - Second Rising. Constantly creating, whether it be in the kitchen or on the page, and a passion for fantasy is what drives her to give to you, what she likes to call fantastic realism-something that's beyond belief yet completely within your grasp.
