Jo Chumas is a British novelist, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was born in England but grew up in Belgium and France, and spent her childhood holidays exploring Europe and North Africa with her parents. She worked for many years as a journalist, advertising copywriter and public relations account manager in various countries around the world, while also writing fiction. In 2013, her novel The Hidden won the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award in the Mystery/Suspense category, and became a bestseller. She writes every day and travels whenever she can.
