Chapter two gives the nutritional situation, importance of micronutrient supplementation, explores studies done on Roselle and benefits high micronutrient and antioxidant densities. Chapter three includes the methods and materials used to obtain information. Sampling design includes children aged 6 to 24 months who are followed up for four months after a washout period of one month. Dietary assessment was conducted during baseline. Chapter four demonstrates benefits of Roselle juice. Haemoglobin levels, appetite and vitamin C intake improved. Chapter five discusses the benefits. Chapter six concludes that consumption of Roselle juice improves haemoglobin levels. consumption should be promoted in areas with high rates of anaemia. More studies on effect of Roselle Juice on Nutritional status are recommended.
