Joyce Speed was raised in the city of Roselle, a small town located in the beautiful Garden State of New Jersey. Much of her work is inspired by her faith, family, and the concept of freedom. When Joyce is not educating the youth, you can always find her head in a book, or maybe even writing one! "A Moment of Transparency", is Joyce's first book of poetry.
