Autorenporträt
Entrepreneur. Speaker. Author. Champion of Youth. At the age of 19, Joan was introduced to a set of teachings which altered the course of her life. Through applying those lessons, she bought her first house later that year, became a successful bank manager by the age of 22 (at the time, the youngest person in Canada to ever have done so), and travel the world. Through study and a lot of practical application Joan learned powerful tools that are changing the lives of youth around the world. She has lived, fine-tuned, tested, and tweaked the principles of The Way Success Works to make them accessible to anyone who has a deep desire to live their best life, and has shared these ideas in countries around the globe in her seminars and keynote speeches. One of her very favourite speaking engagements over that time -- for the last 19 years, in fact -- has been at the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) camp for young adults. She sees an incredible amount of talent and potential in each one of them, and more importantly, she wants to be sure they see this in themselves. Imagine if every young adult around the globe could see within him or herself an abundance of positive possibility? Imagine if each one had the motivation and confidence to express that possibility? This has become her personal mission and it's what led to the development of the Global Youth Project, with it's mission to inspire, enliven, educate, and empower as many young people as possible to become courageous, confident, goal achievers.
