Autorenporträt
John Thornburg is the son, grandson, and great-grandson of Methodist ministers, and has served most recently as pastor at Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas. After 22 years in parish ministry, John started "A Ministry of Congregational Singing," an itinerant ministry of song leading and worship consultation. He is also an adjunct instructor in worship and preaching at Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas. John's hymn texts appear in six different hymnals, and he has written over 100 hymns, choruses, anthems, and vocal solos with Jane Marshall.
