John Hyde Barnard is originally from a small, idyllic town in wester New York State where he was born on one of the coldest days ever recorded in February. Since then, he has pursued life's pleasures, curiosities, and joys, is suspicious of authority - yet is an adherent to tradition and holds a strong affinity for winter. John is an author and musician. He presently resides in California and New York.
