John I Clarke is Emeritus Professor of Geography at the University of Durham, UK. Professor Clarke is a former Chair of the International Geographical Union Commission on Population Geography and the Commission on Population and Environmental of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population. He is also a former Vice President of the Royal Geographical Society.
