Autorenporträt
Writing and poetry have been the lone constants in the life of Natashia "Indy" Easley. Originally from Birmingham, AL, Indy's poetry reflects a life that has taken her from the country of Montezuma, GA to the city streets of Atlanta back to her hometown of Birmingham. It was back in Birmingham where Indy was inspired and motivated to share her words and voice with the world. While writing has always been a natural ability, her skills as a poet have evolved throughout her life as she has overcome struggle, pain, and heartache. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Technical & Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Masters degree in Social Work from The University of Alabama, Indy's personal poetry and her career as a Social Worker both reflect her two strongest passions in life: personal expression and service to others. Indy currently resides in Birmingham, AL and works as a workshop facilitator for Real Life Poets, Inc.
