Lynda T. Young, MRE, M.Ed, is co-founder of Kindred Spirits International whose ministries include children's hospitals and the Amani ya Juu, a refugee women's mission in Kenya. She is a writer, national speaker, and has done volunteer work at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Her husband, Dr. John L. Young, a professor at Emory University has done cancer research for forty years. They are blessed with four children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and lots of hands-on experience. Johnnathan R. Ward, MDIV, is senior staff chaplain with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, AFLAC Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service, Atlanta, GA. He has walked daily in the trenches with children and families as they journey through the difficult stages of cancer diagnosis. He understands the exceptional challenges that families face and the spiritual resources needed. As the coordinator for wellness education at Children's at Hughes Spalding in Atlanta GA, Jonathan designs and leads staff support programs, retreats, and workshops.
