Trust played a strong influence in the business world today. Without trust, a business won't achieve its goals and objectives. The e-commerce industry is a unique business innovative idea which is the current trend throughout the globe and it is spreading very fast and individuals are adopting the idea. The e-commerce industry is also picking up in Nigeria but facing various challenges which are rendering a major setback in the industry. Nigeria is faced with the stereotype image of trust because of certain factors that allow a certain individual to take advantage of the system to commit outrageous crimes. It's at this stands, we came up with the idea to research on this topic to actually find out the problems and solutions for retailers to invest in the e-commerce industry. Building trust comprises various variables and we focused on infrastructure, perceived risk, trust-building, and delivery system which was viewed in the literature review and we addressed four major research questions;How can infrastructure impact the e-commerce industry in Nigeria? What extent perceived risk help to burst the online business in Nigeria? How can delivery system enhance the e-commerce industry.
