"The purpose of the proposed book is to offer a broad audience a greater understanding of JI testimony, historically, legally, and psychologically. First, the book will provide clear examples of the use of JI testimony in a variety of cases, and present the use of JI testimony in historical perspective. Next, we will review the legal status of JI testimony. Finally, we will integrate our historical, legal, and psychological coverage by offering recommendations for dealing with JI testimony in court"--
