Autorenporträt
Miguel Rodríguez Llopis (Yeste, 1958 - Murcia, 2002). Especialista en Historia Medieval y profesor durante lustros de la Universidad de Murcia, se distinguió tempranamente por sus investigaciones sobre los señoríos y la nobleza santiaguista, las repoblaciones y el comercio castellano. Entre sus libros figuran 'Alfonso X. Aportaciones de un rey castellano a la formación de Europa' (Ed. Regional, Murcia, 1998) y 'Alfonso X y su época. El siglo del rey sabio' (Ed. Carroggio, Barcelona, 2001), que recibió el Premio al Mejor Libro editado en 2001, concedido por el Ministerio de Cultura en la modalidad de 'Erudición'. Y han brillado sobremanera sus obras de síntesis: 'Historia de la Región de Murcia' (Ed. Regional, Murcia, 1998) y 'Atlas Histórico Ilustrado de la Región de Murcia y su antiguo reino' (en colaboración con José M. Martínez Carrión, Murcia, 2006).
