This book presents a detailed approach on the use of Remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) in revising 1;50000 topographic map. Details of how to process satellite images such as sub mapping, resampling, creation of maplist, image classification, accuracy assessment etc were treated. Statistical analysis such as error matrix, kappa coefficients were discussed in details and used in comparison of the satellite images. Diagrams, tables were included to make the study clear. We hope that this book will be beneficial to numerous researchers in this field across the globe.
