The seemingly intractable problem of inadequate educational resources has been the bane of access to tertiary institutions by every qualified applicant in Ghana. Consequently, government, through the Ghana Education Trust Fund, tries to expand infrastructure in these institutions in the country each year. However, resources can be unnecessarily committed to providing more facilities when the existing ones have not been put into maximum use. The Utilization of Teaching Space Facilities in Tertiary Institutions: A Case of Sunyani Polytechnic in Ghana provides a comprehensive overview of how Teaching Spaces were utilized in Sunyani Polytechnic in the 2005/2006 academic year. The study aimed at investigating the level of utilization of these facilities in the Polytechnic. It discusses factors identified as constraints to efficient utilization of the facilities as well as recommendations, which the author believes, will help in optimal utilization of facilities. By providing essentialinformation on how existing facilities were utilized, it sets standard, both in theory and practice, for future work in the Teaching Space facilities at the Tertiary institutions in Ghana.
