The readiness and sustainability of weapon systems is a key responsibility of the Department of Defense. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has responsibility for managing repair parts, and the Weapon System Support Program (WSSP) helps DLA and its customers prioritize parts, but performance is lacking.
